U-Pak is looking for someone who is dedicated, trustworthy and willing to learn and be responsible for the movement of materials in and out of the Transfer Station. This position offers an opportunity to add onto your existing experience into the commercial/industrial equipment industry by providing you with hands-on experience and ongoing training. This is a job for applicants who want to increase their skills in the heavy equipment industry and increase their knowledge of the waste industry.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, duties include but **are not limited to**:

- Pushing Up & blending garbage material using a front end loader
- Loading all outgoing Walking Floor & Tipper trailers in a timely manner as assigned by dispatch.
- Shunt Walking Floor/Tipper trailers from compactor in and around the yard.
- Offloading material from Van Trailers using forklift as required.
- Separate material either by equipment or hand
- Must perform circle check on loader daily and complete circle check paper work.
- Fuel, grease, blow-out and wash the loader and filters daily.
- Continuously keeping tipping and compactor area clean and clear with loader and shovels.
- Must adhere to the Health and Safety Procedures of U-Pak Group of Companies.

Must Have:

- Forklift License
- Heavy Equipment Operator License
- ability to drive Front End Loader, Backhoe and Skidsteer
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot summers, cold winters)
- Availability to work Afternoon Shift and Weekends

Good to Have:
DZ licence

Familiar with Compactors

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
