La ou le gestionnaire des finances sera responsable d’un large éventail de tâches complexes telles que la production d’analyses financières et de rapports financiers en vue de déterminer la rentabilité d’une région, d’un secteur d’activité ou d’un important client au profil complexe. Le poste prévoit des tâches de gestion, telles que la budgétisation, la prévision, la production de rapports financiers, la planification stratégique et l’élaboration de processus et de rapports de gestion.
**PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS**
La ou le gestionnaire des finances devra gérer l’une ou l’ensemble des tâches suivantes : processus budgétaire, processus de prévision, processus de planification stratégique et production de rapports de gestion standard. La personne retenue pour le poste devra établir les priorités générales du service et veiller à ce que toutes les échéances soient respectées. Elle devra superviser le personnel de l’équipe des finances, y compris assurer la formation et la gestion du rendement au travail.
La personne choisie pour le poste examinera et approuvera l’analyse des comptes du bilan, les tableaux des flux de trésorerie, les tableaux complémentaires ainsi que les dossiers types de rapports consolidés. Elle examinera et approuvera certaines saisies mensuelles dans _PeopleSoft_ et dans _HFM_.
La personne devra effectuer d’autres études financières et commerciales spéciales de même que d’autres tâches assignées par la direction. Elle devra produire divers rapports financiers courants et ponctuels ainsi que des dossiers de rapports et d’analyses pro forma à l’intention de la haute direction et de l’équipe de planification.
Elle devra participer à la recherche, à l’élaboration et à la préparation de politiques et de procédures comptables, au besoin. La personne peut agir à titre de consultante auprès de la direction en ce qui concerne les politiques, les procédures et les demandes relatives à la finance.
Elle devra gérer des projets spéciaux et préparer des présentations pour la haute direction.
D’autres tâches peuvent être assignées.
**RESPONSABILITÉS DE SUPERVISION**
La personne retenue pour le poste devra superviser sur une base individuelle et de manière formelle les membres du personnel ayant un seul secteur fonctionnel ou d’opérations. Elle devra approuver les recommandations des subordonnés quant au recrutement, à la sélection, à la promotion, à l’avancement, aux mesures correctrices et au renvoi du personnel. La personne devra également reconduire les recommandations des subordonnés directs au prochain niveau de direction à des fins de révision et d’approbation. Elle sera tenue de planifier et de maintenir un niveau approprié de dotation en personnel et d’utilisation de la main-d’œuvre, incluant les heures supplémentaires. Elle devra préparer et produire des évaluations du rendement pour le personnel. La personne sera amenée à former et à offrir le mentorat et l’encadrement aux membres de l’équipe afin de perfectionner leurs compétences. Elle devra adopter un comportement exemplaire qui respecte les valeurs de l’entreprise.
JOB SUMMARY
- Manages a broad range of complex financial analysis and/or financial reporting activities to measure profitability for a region, line of business or large, complex client. Includes the management of such functions as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning and management reporting processes and work product.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Manages one or all of the following: budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting. Establishes overall departmental priorities and ensures that all deadlines are met. Supervises finance staff including training and managing job performance.
- Reviews and approves balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows and supporting schedules and standard consolidated reporting packs. Reviews and approves certain PeopleSoft and HFM monthly journal entries.
- Conducts other special financial and business studies and other duties as assigned by management. Produces a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit.- Manages special projects and prepares presentations for senior management.
