Home Care Assistance is looking for a community caregiver in Alliston who has experience working in a retirement home setting. Currently, there are 2 full time afternoon lines available. Benefits are offered after a 3-month probationary period.
Your typical day:

- Assist with one-on-one support for elderly residents
- Keep residents engaged and safe
- Assist at mealtimes
- All other tasks required by the care plan
- A passion for the job in helping others

Must haves:

- Access to reliable transportation G License and valid insurance (is an asset)
- Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines
