**Résumé et objectifs du poste**
Sous la responsabilité du superviseur de laboratoire, le technicien de laboratoire sera responsable de l’échantillonnage, des tests, de l’analyse, de l’enregistrement et de la communication des résultats des tests selon les procédures internes et les exigences du client. Effectuer tous les tests de démarrage, d’intégration et de qualification nécessaires pour les processus spéciaux humides et HVOF au sein de l’entreprise. Il/elle sera chargé(e) d’examiner les tendances historiques dans les données de laboratoire, d’agir sur les résultats d’analyse et d’analyse, et de rapporter tous les résultats au superviseur de laboratoire. Maintenir l’équipement de laboratoire en bon état en suivant l’horaire hebdomadaire 5S du laboratoire.
**Principales responsabilités et résultats attendus**
- Effectuer des évaluations microscopiques ;
- Préparation de l’échantillon : enrobage, polissage, gravure ;
- Effectuer des tests de micro-dureté ;
- Effectuer des essais mécaniques tels que la traction et la flexion ;
- Mesure d’épaisseur avec une machine XRF ;
- Effectuer des inspections visuelles ;
- Effectuer des tests de corrosion (brouillard salin) ;
- Préparation d’échantillons et de panels d’essais ;
- Suivre les calendriers d’étalonnage de l’équipement ;
- Entrer tous les résultats de laboratoire dans le logiciel approprié et préparer les rapports d’analyse demandés par les clients ;
- Se conformer aux normes NADCAP et les appliquer et interagir avec l’auditeur lors des audits périodiques (internes et externes) ;
- Travailler à l’amélioration continue des tâches de laboratoire ;
- S’acquitter de toutes autres tâches connexes qui pourraient lui être confiées.
**Qualifications**:
**Académique**
Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en métallurgie.
**Expérience**:
3 à 5 ans d’expérience en laboratoire
(Expérience dans le domaine du traitement de surface et/ou de l’aéronautique un atout majeur).
**Compétences requises**:
- Maîtrise du français (oral et écrit) ;
- Anglais oral technique (lu et écrit) et fonctionnel ;
- Connaissance des normes internationales et aérospatiales.
- Esprit d’analyse et sens de l’initiative ;
- Compétences en gestion des priorités et en résolution de problèmes ;
- Bon communicateur ;
- Capacité à fonctionner de manière autonome dans un environnement agité ;
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ;
- Connaissance des accréditations NADCAP et/ou ISO17025 ;
- La maîtrise du logiciel TrueChem sera considérée comme un atout ;
- Une expérience des normes et des systèmes de qualité en aérospatiale sera considérée comme un atout ;
- Connaître le SIMDUT et satisfaire à toutes les exigences en matière de santé et de sécurité en milieu de travail.

**Summary and Objectives of the Position**
Under the responsibility of the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for sampling, testing, analyzing, recording and communicating test results according to internal procedures and customer requirements. Perform all necessary start-up, integration and qualification tests for special wet and HVOF processes within the company. He/she will be responsible for reviewing historical trends in laboratory data, acting on analysis and test results, and reporting all results to the laboratory supervisor. Keep laboratory equipment in good condition by following the laboratory's weekly 5S schedule.
**Key Responsibilities and Expected Results**
- Perform microscopic assessments;
- Sample preparation: mounting, polishing, engraving;
- Perform micro-hardness tests;
- Perform mechanical tests such as tensile and bending;
- Thickness measurement with XRF machine;
- Perform visual inspections;
- Perform corrosion tests (salt spray);
- Preparation of samples and test panels;
- Follow equipment calibration schedules;
- Enter all lab results into the appropriate software and prepare test reports requested by clients;
