Spectrum is currently searching for a **Business Operations Manager** to be part of our Corporate team, based in downtown Toronto. The role is a 14 month contract position.

**Job Description**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Understand the range of services provided by Spectrum Health Care and how it contributes to our model of Total Client Care.
- Coordinate, manage and monitor enterprise wide work flows, actively monitoring performance and implementing process and operational improvements.
- Investigate root causes and work with cross-functional areas to provide analysis and recommendations for business operations improvement.
- Leverage project management methodologies including Lean principles and execute Kaizen events as necessary to create a value stream to ensure operational excellence through efficiencies, standardization and cost containment.
- Collaborate with business leaders, teams and functions to understand the business and develop scalable business models to support Spectrum’s strategic goals.
- Actively review business processes and make a variety of recommendations for improving overall efficiencies and cross divisional synergies to enhance the company structure.
- Schedule and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the changing needs of the business, including process improvement, and ongoing support around reporting and analysis.
- Provide analysis, design, implementation and documentation support to project and technology teams on various business and technology initiatives, supporting multiple lines of business with diverse operations and technologies.
- Manage the Corporate Talent Acquisition team responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of branch field staff

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree (B.Comm, HBA, MBA)
- 8+ years of experience in Project, Business, and/or Operations Management
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment and/or supporting continuous improvement initiatives/projects within Human Resources
- Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt is considered an asset
- Strong problem solving and data analytic skills
- A data driven mindset with the ability to run/interpret analytics and identify trends
- Strong project management skills, including process flows and mapping, requirements and gathering techniques and conducting structured analysis
- Strong knowledge of and experience implementing within regulatory requirements, best practices and industry standards, including: PHIPA, PIPEDA, ITIL, and ISO
- Ability to drive strategic and operational initiatives within teams
- Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with key business partners
- Advances computer skills with proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal/written) and consulting skills and executive level presentation capability
- Self-directed with the ability and initiative to learn and develop and the ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Flexible work processes, with the ability to adapt to organizational changes
- Results-oriented - strives to achieve high levels of individual and organizational performance
