Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Independenly check, prepare and package medications for distribution
- Formulate and compound both sterile and non-sterile medications
- Enter prescription information into computer systems accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure their needs are met
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

**Skills**:

- Hospital experience is a plus
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems
- Understanding of medication safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care. **Salary**: $29.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
