Its head office is based in New Hamburg, Ontario, with additional Canadian terminals in Baden, Toronto, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Montreal, Trenton, Winnipeg and a U.S. terminal in Elverson, PA.

**What Will You Do?**
- Fully understand Erb Transport’s handling of freight on the Toronto dock.
- Understand duties of both Dock Loaders and Dock Receivers.
- Load straight-trucks as well as trailers destined for specific locations, while avoiding damages by ensuring equipment is set at correct temperatures.
- Judging freight volumes for trailers, cubing, re weighing and additional reporting as needed.
- Set up dock floor and line up freight so that orders can be found efficiently and accurately.
- Read and cross-reference freight bills to match with actual products according to manifests.
- Ensure trucks are loaded according to legal weights and space allotted for the product.
- Operate pallet-jack and forklift in a safe manner.
- Inform appropriate personnel of any equipment requiring repairs and/or follow-up.
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Minimum of 1 years of forklift experience.
- Knowledge of Erb’s systems and operations is an asset.
- Ability to work in a cold, refrigerated environment for up to 8 hours is necessary.
- Must be able to list up to 60lbs.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Positive communication skills as it pertains to interacting with dock staff, operations, and drivers.
- Safety-conscious mind-set.
- Overtime may be required from time to time

**Ce que vous allez faire**:

- Comprendre parfaitement le traitement du fret par Erb Transport sur le quai de Toronto.
- Comprendre les tâches des chargeurs et des réceptionnaires de quai.
- Charger des camions porteurs ainsi que des remorques à destination d'endroits spécifiques, tout en évitant les dommages en s'assurant que l'équipement est réglé à la bonne température.
