- The Classification Advisor provides expert advice, guidance, and education on a variety of classification and compensation issues related to bargaining unit jobs within the organization. The Advisor provides advice regarding organizational/program/department design and redesign and provides advice and consultation in the areas of job evaluation, analysis, contract interpretation, policies, jurisprudence, regulation, and legislation relating to unionized classification and compensation. The Advisor investigates and negotiates resolutions to classification issues such as job review requests and classification grievances and may represent Northern Health (NH) in third party dispute processes. The Advisor liaises with NH employees, union representatives, employer bargaining agents, legal counsel, other health authorities, and external organizations to exchange information, influence and support consistent and fair practices
- Starting salary will be approximately from $80,935 to $101,168 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions**Prince George** has a population of 89,490 (2021) local residents and is a service centre for approximately 320,000. **Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline, plus five (5) years direct experience in compensation/classification, preferably in a unionized health care environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to operate related equipment including various work processing software and spreadsheet programs and ability to complete computer assisted statistical analysis.
