We have immediate opening at our Thunder Bay operation for experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technicians.

Our Vehicle Fire Suppression Technicians are responsible for delivering in-field fire services such as:
installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.

Some of the additional expectations of this role include:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
- Determining specific solutions and recommendations for customers.
- Preparing materials for daily execution of assigned work orders.
- Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities.
- Ensuring safe work practices are followed safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job.
- Mentoring other team members including trainees as assigned.

They must also possess the following experience and training credentials:

- 2+ years of field experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire suppression systems
- Manufacturer training in vehicle suppression systems
- Valid drivers license

Applicants must be able to travel to and work out of remote client sites. Overtime and overnight travel will be required; therefore, hours of work/schedule will vary.

Nous avons des postes à pourvoir immédiatement dans nos installations de Thunder Bay pour des techniciens expérimentés en suppression des incendies de véhicules.

Nos techniciens en extinction de véhicules sont chargés de fournir des services de lutte contre l'incendie sur le terrain, tels que:

- l'installation, l'inspection, la maintenance, la modification et l'entretien de l'équipement de protection contre les incendies et des systèmes d'extinction des incendies sur les sites commerciaux, industriels et institutionnels.

Les attentes supplémentaires de ce poste sont les suivantes:

- Lire et interpréter des plans, des diagrammes, des spécifications, des schémas et des manuels d'utilisation/de produits.
- Déterminer des solutions et des recommandations spécifiques pour les clients.
- Préparer le matériel nécessaire à l'exécution quotidienne des ordres de travail assignés.
- Rédiger des rapports quotidiens sur les ordres de travail et les activités réalisés.
- Veiller à ce que les pratiques de travail soient respectées et à ce que le leadership en matière de sécurité soit démontré dans tous les aspects du travail.
