Behaviour Technician

Lake Ridge Community Support Services is looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to deliver services in Urgent Response Services (URS). The URS program offers service to help stabilize a high-risk situation, prevent crisis, and reduce the risk of the child or youth harming themselves, others and property. **What’s your role as Behaviour Technician?**
- Deliver therapeutic respite services
- Engage in caregiver coaching, implementing preventative protocols, safety plans and skill building plans within family homes
- Opportunity to work with a large interdisciplinary team

**What skills are we looking for?**
- University degree or College Diploma in a relevant field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a childcare setting and/or a group learning environment
- Experience delivering ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual disabilities
- Knowledge of ABA principles and an understanding of child development
- Enthusiastic and excited to work and communicate in a team environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

**Salary Range**:Approx. $48,000-52,000

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
