**Tasks**
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Build patios, retaining walls and other decorative installations
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools

**Transportation/travel information**
- Valid BC driver's licence
- Own vehicle

**Work conditions and physical capabilities**
- Physically demanding
- Handling heavy loads
- Bending, crouching, kneeling

**Own personal equipment**
- Safety gear
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Hard hat
- Gloves
