Gore Mutual Insurance is in the midst of an exciting transformation and we’re once again growing our Claims team. We are looking for an experienced claims professional. A leader who understands the value of providing genuine, customer centric service with a track record of coaching for success and growing high performing teams.

Reporting to the Operations Manager APD, you will lead a team of APD Claims Adjusters and provide support through mentoring and being a resourceful people leader.

**What you’ll Do**:

- Lead a team of Auto Claims Adjusters who provide claims support and solutions for our insurers and broker partners
- Build and nurture an engaged and inclusive workplace culture
- Provide direction, guidance, training, and technical advice to aid in the development of your team
- Identify, address and help solution barriers to effective teamwork
- Prioritize department objectives and motivate team towards meeting their goals and our exceeding customer service standards
- Find and create opportunities for innovation and collaboration

**What you’ll Need**:

- Minimum of 5 years with claims handling experience is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team towards success
- Expertise in auto physical damage claims handling is required
- University or College degree or equivalent experience is required
- Familiarity with Guidewire Software and/or Amazon Connect considered an asset
- CIP/FCIP/CRM is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical, organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective negotiation skills

NOTE: This is a hybrid role that includes the flexibility to work remotely, but also regular in-person collaboration in our Cambridge facility is expected (two times a week).
