**The Opportunity**:
12-month work term (preferred): September 2023 to August 2024

8-month work term: September 2023 to April 2024

**How You Will Contribute**:
Work responsibilities can include building telecommunication networks, writing software (scripts) to improve efficiency, system test or database management.

**The Must Haves**:

- Working towards completion of computer science or engineering degree
- Strong communication **and Linux** skills are important.

**Assets**:

- Prior co-op experience in telecommunications
- Strong knowledge in Linux
- Knowledge of IP (Internet Protocol) networking, computer communications
- Any work experience in IT (Information Technology) **including exposure to routing devices such as Cisco/Juniper or network security.**:

- Knowledge of a programming language such as Python
