Barista

Coutts Coffee Roastery & Cafe is seeking a skilled and passionate customer service agent to join our barista team.

As a barista, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality handcrafted beverages to our customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, busy downtown cafe, where you will need to handle multiple tasks at once while maintaining a positive attitude. Job experience in the field is not necessary, but a plus, and a willingness to learn about coffee and the industry is a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers, take their orders, process payment
- Prepare beverages such as coffees, espresso based drinks, teas, smoothies
- Operate and maintain equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Keep work area clean, organized and stocked throughout the day
- Grow coffee knowledge to make recommendations to customers
- Prepare and serve various treats and food items
- Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
