Architectural Draftsperson

**Your responsibilities**
- Preparing architectural drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
- Generating floor area calculations and floor area analysis
- Coordinating with internal and external project team members
- Maintain familiarity with current construction, document delivery techniques and developments to sustain and improve technical skills
- Source and coordinate all materials to be drawn and specified to ensure feasibility and to meet not only the design intent but to comply with industry standards and all insurers
- Develop and establish technical building details for the project including plans, sections, elevations, plan/section details, schedules (wall/ceiling/roof types, etc.), and elevation details to meet the design intent
- Publishing, sharing, and managing digital drawing and data sets

**Your experience**
- A diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction
- 5+ years of experience Preferred
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D Rendering software is considered an asset
- Basic understanding of the Ontario Building Code
- Basic knowledge and understanding of building systems, architectural standards, construction technologies and practices
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices
- Salary will be based on your experience. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with a flexible work schedule.
