Edmonton, Canada RGO Office Products Full time

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Shipper/Receiver receives and stores commercial furniture products from vendors. As scheduled, they pull and load products for delivery to customers.

**Responsibilities**:
**Shipping & Receiving**
- Receive incoming shipments from vendors with an emphasis on confirming quantities and any
- documenting/reporting any damages or short shipments.
- Process all shipping and receiving items within the Application Software
- Consolidate small boxes into Multi-packs (M-Tags)
- Tag and segregate product for shipment or delivery
- Match up and receive all network orders
- Work with Post Installation Assessment Coordinator on receiving exceptions/damages
- Ensure returns area is kept clean, returned product is put away correctly and Hedberg is updated as
- required
- Load daily trucks for install with the goal to be 100% loaded by 8:00am
- Ensure products scanned out and loaded safely onto trucks. Secure all loads as per safe work
- practices and provincial guidelines.
- Ensure stock substitutions are performed as required

**Customer Storage**
- Unload and load, stage, and dispose of Customer stored products
- Ensure Customer product is neat, organized, safe and easy to access

**Outgoing Freight**
- Provide freight quotes for outgoing shipments to Sales
- Assemble product to the level required
- Prepare product for shipment in a manner that will arrive with no damages; palletize, protect, wrap
- & strap
- Coordinate outgoing shipments with freight companies
- Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments (waybills, packing slips, etc.)

**Demo Program**
- Pull demo product for delivery - ensure cleanliness & proper operation
- Assist in demo returns, checking that chairs are in working order and cleaning if necessary
- Receive Demo chairs back into Application software on return
- Engage Service Coordinator when necessary
- Facility Maintenance
- Ensure warehouse is clean and all aisles are always kept clear
- Safely load cardboard into compactor
- Empty garbage cans around warehouse
- Contact waste removal company to have bins emptied as required
- Yard and facility maintenance, including mowing lawn, maintain landscaping and cleanliness of
- exterior building
- Ensure sidewalks and entrances are clear of snow & ice
- Weekly walk around to remove debris
- Maintain Safety Equipment in facility (Fire Extinguishers, fire hoses, etc)
- Assist with washroom maintenance issues - contact vendors as required
- Replace/maintain lighting in showroom - weekly

**Computer Software/Apps & Reports**
- File, scan, record and organize paperwork
- Track incoming shipments - plan labor & location assignment accordingly
- Weekly/Monthly Reporting:

- Manufacturer Prep document - incoming trailer priorities
- Goods in the warehouse over 30 days report
- Dashboard report - Pick ticket logs/Weekly piece counts report
- Trucks Loaded by 8am report
**Other Duties**
- Assist with inventory control & yearly inventory counts
- Manage RGO parts inventory in basement - Assist installers in locating product when necessary
- Order shop supplies as required (including tape, labels, boxes, etc.)
- Backup Warehouse Coordinator

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum High School Diploma
- 1 to 3 years of relatable experience
- Proficient using a computer and experienced with Microsoft Office programs.
- Driver’s license and ability to drive is an asset.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Able to multitask various duties effectively with tact, patience, and professionalism.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
- Proof of full immunization against COVID-19 is required upon hire
