Formwork Carpenter

**We are looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter for a hi-rise project in Kingston, ON.**

We specialize in formwork and reinforced concrete solutions offering our services to a wide range of building sectors including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Covering all parts of Southern Ontario, Sibwest delivers an innovative approach using a range of traditional and modern formwork systems.
**Schedule**:
- 8+ hours shifts
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Perform general construction labour
- Operate power tools, saws, hammers, and other construction equipment
- Ability to set up wall forms; deck panels; Fly-forms
- Layout, form and pour floors with various finishes
- Layout, form and pour footings with rebar
- Custom concrete forming
- Communicate and problem solve well with others
- Complete work in a timely manner with a quality outcome
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Strive for quality outcomes
**Qualifications**:
- Posses strong well-rounded concrete carpentry skills
- Must be able to read plans, plan ahead and execute tasks with mínimal supervision
- Must hold valid WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications
**Experience**:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in concrete work
