We are looking for an **Advisor, Finance** to be part of a high performing team. You will add value to Diavik operations by embedding a strong cost management focus, evaluating projects, forecasting results, and ensuring accurate reporting of financials. Collaborating with the Diavik leadership team, you will challenge, advise and provide business insights to optimize business performance and enhance financial knowledge of operational and functional leaders.

Working on a Monday to Friday schedule in Yellowknife, and periodically at the Lac de Gras mine site, you will report to the Principal Advisor, Finance. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Partner with operational and functional teams to drive cost management objectives.
- Financial planning, forecasting, analyzing, and communicating site performance.
- Business analysis, including collaboration with stakeholders to assist with building business cases.
- Provide expertise to enhance financial comprehension and drive decision making.
- Provide financial coaching to all levels & vocations within the organization.
- Identifying financial opportunities and influencing outcomes to enhance the performance of the business.
- Contribute to and oversee some aspects of the month end reporting process.

**What you will bring**
- Bachelor and/or professional qualification in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Engineering.)
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail, with ability to link to Diavik’s strategic objectives.
- Team orientated approach to delivery of strategic priorities.
- Ability to present & communicate complex strategical financial information to audiences with differing levels of financial acumen.

**It will also be beneficial if you have**:

- Experience in the use of SAP and HFM.
- Proficiency with business intelligence programs/techniques (PowerBI, ThinkCell.)
