Safety Trainer

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a Safety Trainer to join our team. As a Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs particularly for Respiratory Fit Testing, utilizing training materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your role will involve implementing safety initiatives ensuring the most accurate results are produced. All training and necessary tools for the job will be provided.

**Duties**:

- General understanding of Health & Safety regulations outlined by OSHA, NIOSH and CSA Z94.4.
- Strong communication and training skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Certification in health and safety training is beneficial (*Training will be provided if certification is not present. Refreshers will be completed to maintain standard*).
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to workplace safety

**Experience**:

- Past experience is not mandatory. Training will be provided to ensure competence and confidence in order to meet standard of the safety training program.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to engage and motivate clients during training sessions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail in identifying potential hazards and recommending solutions

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
