Siltech Corporation, a Canadian-owned Chemical company, is looking to hire a full-time, contract Regulatory Affairs Associate for our Mississauga facility.

The Regulatory Affairs position supports the Regulatory/Compliance Associatet in ensuring that Siltech complies with all of the regulations and laws pertaining to our business by:
1. Completing various documents relating to North American and International regulations.
2. Researching FDA, EPA, BfR, Swiss and other regulations to determine food contact and other regulated status of products.
3. Staying informed about current regulatory issues.
4. Maintaining SDS’s and Labels for finished products,
5. Providing regulatory statements and compliance documents to fulfill customer requirements.
6. Completing regulatory forms and provides data needed for inventory registrations.
7. Interacting with Sales Managers and customers to facilitate regulatory compliance.
8. Interacting with Government agencies and follows up on various requests.
9. Coordinating translations of MSDS and other documents into foreign languages as needed.
**Knowledge required**
1. University degree in Chemistry or related field.
2. Thorough knowledge of the major work carried out by all the business units in a chemical manufacturing plant, allowing facilitation of cross-organizational collaboration.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001.
5. Knowledge of WHMIS and TDG regulations.
6. Knowledge of DSL, TSCA, REACH regulations.
7. Knowledge of International Chemical Inventories and International regulations.
8. Knowledge of GHS regulations and deadlines.
9. Knowledge of international cosmetic regulations and laws.
**Essential Work Experience (Number of years in related work experience)**
3-5 years working in a chemical manufacturing environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
