**Position Summary**:
The City of Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a confident, dynamic and personable professional to join our Protective Services Team. Reporting to the Director of Protective Services, the Municipal Enforcement Supervisor will manage and coordinate the Municipal Enforcement and Automated Traffic Enforcement activities and programs while ensuring the team delivers a professional standard of Bylaw and provincial statute investigations or services in addition to focused traffic enforcement for the City of Fort Saskatchewan.

**Responsibilities**:

- include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the unit in accordance with the Municipal Enforcement Services policy and procedures manual, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) established between the City and the RCMP, and the Public Safety and Emergency Services Peace Officer Program - Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Develop and maintain an efficient, professional and committed Municipal Enforcement work force through active recruitment, training, coaching, evaluating and tasking of employees.
- Liaise with Public Safety and Emergency Services Department to ensure the Community Peace Officer Program objectives are met.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with other provincial and municipal resources / agencies including Alberta Transportation, Fish and Wildlife, and Offices of Traffic Safety.
- Promote traffic safety and Fort Saskatchewan’s traffic safety plan by facilitating, collaborating and coordinating Municipal Enforcement interactions with RCMP traffic officers and/or community groups.
- Assists in preparing, administering and reporting the Municipal Enforcement Services / Animal Control budgets.

**Qualifications**:
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday
