Kitchen Associate

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Assist with meal preparation for special dietary needs or restrictions
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
