**The Position**

The successful applicant will safely operate a snow plow and help our clients’ properties clear of snow after snow events. This is a part time opportunity and based on snow fall. The successful applicant will work on commercial sites with a crew or alone. Our strength is organization and we plan our routes and crews in advance and always operate with maximum efficiency.

**Our Expectations**:

- Conduct a circle check of truck to ensure plow is properly attached, other necessary equipment is loaded, everything is operational and safety features are working prior to leaving the shop
- Plow snow on sites
- Spread salt when necessary
- Safely operate vehicle at night and in inclement weather
- Load and refill salt into salter as required, using a skid steer
- Communicate with other salt truck operators and plow operators as necessary
- Fill out all paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Remove all garbage from the truck at the end of the shift and ask crew members to do the same

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience operating a plow.
- Physically fit and able to fulfill job requirements.
- G license and clean drivers abstract.
- The ability and willingness to work long hours during peak days.
- Able to communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
- Hard working
- Punctual
- Transportation to the workplace
- Team player who has a positive attitude, is reliable and dependable
- Available for work at odd hours
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at the shop and on jobsites

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
