**Youth Engagement Worker**

**Location**: Stratford-Perth (Stratford YMCA / Stratford Rotary Complex)**Work Hours**: 37.5 hours per week.- Must be available to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings and occasional weekends. **What you will do**

You will work as a part of the full time Youth Team to plan, promote, lead and facilitate a variety of programs for youth (aged 13-24 years) that support their physical, social and mental wellbeing, personal development, leadership skills, and more. You will support the Supervisor of Community Youth Initiatives, alongside the youth themselves, to develop programming, events, resources and activities to meet the changing needs of youth within the Stratford-Perth Community. You will be committed to high quality program delivery and the success of programs including: Youth Leadership Development, Youth Sports, Teen Basketball, Food Sense/Community Meals, Youth Drop In, amongst other new youth programs that develop.-
You will be committed to ensuring that the youth programs are a safe, inclusive and engaging space for all youth, while building trusting relationships with youth directly in programs.Youth Programs take place at the following locations: Stratford YMCA and the Rotary Complex- Youth Programs are offered Monday-Friday approx. 3:00 - 9:00pm. You will have experience working with youth between the ages of 13-24 years from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. You will have knowledge of the unique needs of the youth and resources available to them within our community.
