We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Parcel Delivery Driver** to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers, ensuring each delivery is completed accurately and on time. You must have your own vehicle, be able to work independently, and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Deliver parcels** to residential and commercial addresses throughout London.
- **Take clear photos** of deliveries and proof of successful drop-offs using a mobile app (app will be provided).
- **Download and use** the designated app to manage deliveries, track packages, and confirm delivery status.
- Ensure each delivery is completed **on time** and in compliance with all delivery instructions.
- Handle parcels with care, ensuring they arrive in good condition.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- **Maintain accurate records** of deliveries and ensure photos are uploaded correctly.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery problems to the supervisor immediately.

**Requirements**:

- **Own MINIVAN car and gas**: You must have your own vehicle (sedan, SUV, or van) for deliveries and cover the cost of gas and vehicle maintenance.
- A **valid driver’s license** with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs).
- **Smartphone** with the ability to download and use apps for delivery management (photos must be taken for proof of delivery).
- Previous **delivery or driving experience** is a plus but not required.
- Strong **time management skills** and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent **communication** and **customer service skills**.
- Must be available to work **6 days a week**, including weekends.

**Compensation**:

- **$1.60 per parcel** delivered.
- Mileage reimbursement or allowance (if applicable).
- Opportunity to earn additional incentives or bonuses based on delivery performance.

**Working Hours**:

- Full-time, **6 days a week** (schedule flexibility based on operational needs).
- Must be available to work during peak delivery hours, including weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.65-$22.27 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
