Junior Drafter

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, respectful and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Junior Drafter. As a Junior Drafter, you will work closely with our design team to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for various projects, providing ample opportunity to demonstrate sound work ethics and to take initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in drafting and gain valuable experience in the industry.

**Duties**:

- Draft and build detailed technical drawings using software such as SolidWorks and other drafting tools.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from senior drafters or engineers.
- Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Perform basic calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, be self-motivated and willing to learn
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and also work as part of a team.
- Generate Bills of Materials
- Update existing drawings and models.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency/Experience with SolidWorks is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Knowledge of 2D animation principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction and engineering terminology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing background is an asset

Pay: $18.91-$30.83 per hour
