We have several exciting opportunities for the summer work term for post-secondary students currently undertaking a diploma program in Chemical Laboratory Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining data gathering and assessment tools- Involvement with the defining reporting tools and methods- Participation in assessment of performance- Identify gaps in performance reporting metrics and actions to close the gaps- Assist in maintaining accurate records of chemically related analysis- Involvement using established computer programs to set up analyses and data processing on computer based laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.- Assist in defining and documenting software requirements and testing/commissioning specifications- Document software architecture, testing and commissioning

Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Public speaking skills- Strong organizational and planning abilities- Strong computer skills- Good analytical skills- Demonstrates strong learning agility- Dependable and self-motivated- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team- A strong understanding of safety in the workplace

Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in Chemical Laboratory Technology- Must be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program- Must have completed a minimum of one year post-secondary studies- Must be returning full-time immediately following the work term to post-secondary studies or require a co-op term to graduate-
