**Job Description**:
**AECOM** is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Edmonton-based team.

AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
- Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety, and/or code requirements.
- Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
- General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
- Performs routine duties; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience.
- Provide AutoCAD/REVIT support to building mechanical discipline and cross train to support other disciplines
- Provide Contract Administration support and field visits for Condition Assessment reports

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
High School Diploma + two (2) years of relevant experience in Mechanical Technology.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

**Preferred Requirements**:
Prefer diploma in Mechanical Technology.
