Draftsman/woman

52-North Manufacturing Corp., a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and innovative Draftsman with expertise in modeling and design using AutoCAD and Inventor. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the creation of precise technical drawings and 3D models that align with our manufacturing processes and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with engineers, and design teams to understand project objectives, functional requirements, and specifications
- Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor software to create accurate 2D and 3D models for production and manufacturing purposes
- Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints that comply with industry standards and regulations

Be involved in manufacturing facility to measure equipment for as-built drawings
- Modify and revise existing drawings as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent
- Actively participate in design reviews, providing insights and innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, efficiency, and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, quality control, and procurement, to resolve design-related issues and provide technical support
- Stay updated on industry trends, new software developments, and manufacturing techniques to enhance modeling and design processes
- Adhere to project timelines and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

**Requirements**:

- Solid experience as a Draftsman with a focus on modeling and design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor software preferred
- Knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and modeling work
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet project deadlines
- Degree or certification in drafting, design, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with other design software and tools is a plus

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
