**Description**:
Located out of our Cochrane Extraction Plant, this position will report to the Senior Lab Technician and will be responsible for general laboratory assistance in the regular sampling, monitoring, and analyzing of various product streams at the plant.

**Key Activities and Responsibilities**:

- Daily sampling (Gas, NGL, amine, LoCat and cooling water)
- Weekly sampling (Gas, cooling water and surface runoff)
- Monthly sampling (Gas, cooling water, LoCat solution, etc.)
- Quarterly sampling (Amines, and cooling water, etc.)
- Regular surface runoff pond monitoring
- Weekly river checks
- Assisting with lab filing and reporting
- Lab project work, as required.
- Assisting operations department, as required

**Education, Skills and Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in a university program and has, at minimum, completed the first year of the program
- Physically fit and able to perform sampling.
- Must possess a positive attitude and a strong commitment to learning.
- Safety conscious and compliance with plant procedures is essential.

**Hours**:
Full time, M-F, on-site, anticipated to start early **May 2025 until late August 2025**
