At our **Cambridge Facility** we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.
**Role Summary**
This position is to support the main point of contact for production scheduling and weekly forecasts of Komatsu and other customers. Through their customer contacts and web sites, the CSR will be involved in forwarding quote requests. If QCI is going to be late for a scheduled delivery, the CSR will obtain the customer’s approval for a revised date and where possible, have the customer modify their internal schedule date. The CSR initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. The CSR must strive to make is “easy” for the customer to interact with us.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Primary customer contact for all Sales Orders
- Confirm accuracy of SO’s upon receipt and enter into Visual
- Maintain Customer delivery schedules
- Issue firm sales orders to manufacturing / scheduling group
- Coordination of shipments to customers
- Provide RMA’s (Return Material Authorizations) when required
- Provide customer product forecasts to put scheduling and management for forecasting requirements
- Perform EDI (Electronic Date Interchange) functions for Komatsu and other customers
- Follow all Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Telephone reception and routing of incoming calls
- Role; Shipping / Invoicing CDN/USA Documentation
- Ordering of Office supplies inventory and stock control.
- General Administrative duties as required. (eg. collect mail, quote letters, )
- Back up to shipping clerk
**Key Qualification/Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years progressive customer service experience within a manufacturing environment or combination of relevant experience and professional education
- Grade twelve education or equivalent
- Excellent computer skills - current working knowledge and abilities; Internet navigation, MS Office - Excel, Word & Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written & verbal
- Meticulous attention to detail & dedication to continuous improvement
- Excellent ability to multi-task & effectively manage many projects simultaneously
- Positively and swiftly adapts to change
