**Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare classroom
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns or updates
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each child
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 17.55 per week

**Salary**: $20.98-$26.00 per hour
