Frontline Traffic Services is having the busiest season yet and we are looking for **Traffic Controllers (TCP)** to join our team In this exciting role you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites in and around the Halifax/Dartmouth area.

**We offer**:

- Competitive wages **starting** at $15.50/hour for those with no drivers license or not in a driver role.
- $18.00/hour for applicants who will be responsible for operating our company vehicles.
- Drivers must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License, clean drivers abstract, and no "N" or "R" on your license.
- Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification training.
- Opportunity for advancement within a few months of working.
- Transportation to and from work (some exceptions may apply).
- Respectful and friendly management team that will help you succeed.
- Most PPE supplied by the company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist with placing signs, barricades and traffic cones in work areas.
- Communicate with other TCP in the workplace to regulate traffic safely.
- Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists through work areas.
- Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
- Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions given by Site Foreman.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
- Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
- Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
- Valid TCP Certification an asset.
- Valid Class 5 License an asset.
