As a vital member of our operations team, we are looking to add a Guard Rail Foreman to lead a crew in the installation of guard rail, cable barrier, and other safety systems. Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Guard Rail Foreman will play a vital role in supporting project completion.

**Responsibilities**
- Support and train a crew of labourers in guard rail installation
- Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and trailers
- Secure cargo and heavy equipment to flat deck and double drop deck trucks
- Safely drive and operate vehicles out to infrastructure job sites throughout the city
- Operate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers, etc.
- Assist operators in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks both manually and utilizing the use of equipment
- Execute daily work under the direction of the site superintendent
- Participate in daily safety meetings and fill out hazard assessments
- Maintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properly
- Report incidents immediately to health and safety or site supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Previous lead hand, supervisory, or foreman experience
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to work evening and weekends when required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Preferably, experience with installation of guard rail, cable barrier, and highway sign structures
- Preferably, class 3 license

**Hours of Work**

Hours of work may vary depending upon project schedules and timelines; however, must be capable of working a minimum schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm with weekend and evening work when required.
