**Responsabilités**
- Veiller au respect des procédures d'exploitation pour la coupe des fils, les réglages et la sécurité.
- Veiller au respect de l'assiduité de l'équipe placée sous son commandement.
- Superviser les activités des travailleurs engagés dans le département et les ETP affiliés.
- Former et gérer le personnel afin d'assurer la réalisation des performances et des objectifs du département.
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans visant à améliorer l'efficacité des départements afin d'atteindre les objectifs.
- Encadrer les ETP afin d'améliorer leur efficacité et de promouvoir la vision du directeur général.
- Collaborer avec d'autres superviseurs pendant les périodes de pointe et les périodes creuses.
- Collaborer avec son supérieur pour améliorer la communication, les objectifs et la sécurité du service.
- Capacité à déplacer les ETP en fonction de la charge de travail.
- Il signale tout besoin de maintenance afin d'éviter les arrêts de machine.
- Effectue d'autres tâches qui lui sont confiées.

**Qualifications**
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou expérience équivalente requise.
- Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans les opérations d'entreposage, y compris la production, la préparation des commandes et le contrôle de la qualité.
- 5 ans et plus d'expérience de supervision dans un centre de distribution, un détaillant à grand volume, un fabricant ou un environnement de production.
- Bilingue (français et/ou anglais)
- 5 années requises ; 5 années préférées de conduite de chariots élévateurs à fourche.
- Expérience confirmée de la gestion d'une équipe d'employés syndiqués rémunérés à l'heure dans un environnement de production, de distribution, de fabrication, de vente au détail ou dans un environnement similaire, où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide.
- Expérience de l'encadrement et de l'orientation d'employés syndiqués.
- Expérience de la collecte et de l'examen de données, de la compréhension des niveaux de productivité et de la communication efficace de la traduction à l'équipe sous ses ordres.
- Compétences démontrées en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps.
- Aptitudes manifestes à la communication commerciale, à l'oral et à l'écrit, requises.
- Expérience des processus opérationnels et du développement d'équipes de préférence.
- Excellentes compétences et aptitudes en informatique.
- Autonome, motivé et orienté vers les objectifs, avec un sens aigu de l'urgence.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes
- Capable de disséquer un problème et de présenter une solution réaliste.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensures compliance with operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials
- Ensures a safe working environment for all associates including surveying facility for repair and maintenance items, promoting and managing safety programs; ensuring policy adherence for worker’s compensation and general liability issues
- Review work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments
- Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials
- Trains staff to ensure attainment of department performance goals
- Manages and ensures successful achievement of performance goals of assigned functional areas
- Develop and implement plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design
- Schedule surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials
- Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations maintenance and safety manuals
- Opens and closes the distribution center, authorizes refunds, and handles customer problems
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- High School degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory and quality control.
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience within a distribution center, high-volume retailer, manufacturer, or production environment.
- 1-3 years required, 5 years preferred of forklift operation
- Prior demonstrated experience managing a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced production, distribution, manufacturing, retail or similar environment
