**Lac Ste. Anne County has Seasonal Positions available to maintain and mow areas throughout the County.**

**The County seeks a Seasonal Mowers. This is a seasonal position for approximately 16 weeks, 40 hours/per week from approximately June 3 to September 27.**

**Key Requirements**

The responsibilities to be undertaken by this individual is as follows:

- Operate tractor and mower equipment with considerable care and attention; may be required to operate other machinery such as an excavator, loader, backhoe, dozer, reclaimer, light duty trucks, packer, skid steer, and trailers as needed;
Maintain County equipment and vehicles in good housekeeping order, including servicing and maintenance as required; Maintain equipment records and work reports; Complete routine work and specific assignments as required; Communicate effectively with ratepayers within the County; Perform other duties as assigned; Actively participate in the Lac Ste. Anne County Health and Safety Program. _Training is provided for all of the above tasks, as required._

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence must provide a driver’s abstract upon request;
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public; Possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to operate County equipment in a safe and responsible manner; Able to complete routine maintenance and servicing on equipment and vehicles; Physically fit, with the ability to comfortably lift 25 kg. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and operating equipment in high traffic areas; Able to work when required to meet operational needs; Exhibits initiative and good judgement to produce quality results and complete duties with mínimal supervision.

**Salary**: $31.47 per hour
