Insulator

Responsibilities:

- Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Seal gaps and cracks with caulking to ensure proper insulation
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine insulation requirements
- Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper insulation installation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools used in insulation installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting insulation materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, or lifting heavy materials
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other construction professionals

**Salary**: $17.83-$36.75 per hour
