Seamstress

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated seamstress with a passion for sewing and fitting. They love special occasion fashion and have expertise in how to tailor a garment to ensure the best fit possible.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Responsible for the care, maintenance and construction of all garments. This includes lining seaming, ironing/pressing, sewing and trimming.
- Completes alterations of all kinds
- Hand pressing and steaming
- Maintains quality control of work area, equipment, and supplies.
- Encourages and maintains collaborative, positive and focused work environment.
- Ensures that each garment or article pressed, steamed, altered, custom made or sewn meets or exceeds company standards and client's expectations.
- Delivers quality and genuine service, with respectful language and tone.
- Completes projects on or before time.

**Education & Credentials**
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- Prior sewing experience required
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
