**Position: Cook**

**Location**: Ardo Restaurant, 243 King St E

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and execute traditional Sicilian dishes, ensuring adherence to Ardo's high culinary standards and authentic recipes.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen workstation, prioritizing cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies, while minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
- Participate in staff training and development, sharing knowledge of Sicilian cooking techniques and ingredients with team members.
- Contribute to a harmonious kitchen atmosphere, working alongside a dedicated team to foster collaboration.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment, with a strong emphasis on Italian or Mediterranean cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prep items for your station
- Cook on the line during service times
- Clean down your station and write prep list for the next shift
- Help the Chef with daily kitchen dutie

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5A 2L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)
