Our Toronto office is looking for a CAD/BIM Manager to lead a diverse & talented team responsible for developing high-quality drawings, models and digital information products for transportation & infrastructure projects in Ontario and across Canada.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Lead & manage a team of Toronto-based CAD and BIM specialists. Work to ensure team members are busy and productive on projects. Support the ongoing professional development of team members.
- Recruitment and hiring new team members to address business needs.
- Work with other Canada-based Digital Delivery managers to coordinate efforts on projects across Canada.
- Work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers and Designers) in a team environment to resolve design/modeling/drawing issues to accomplish project objectives
- Review models & drawings, help create submission packages and ensure all packages are made to specifications.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of deliverables and services in assigned areas of responsibility
- Assist in administration, training others on CAD and BIM systems and with company standards
- Work to build a high-functioning digital delivery team.

- Technical background: 15+ years of experience working with Autodesk and Bentley software across a range of CAD and BIM methodologies.
- Linear infrastructure experience with a focus on the transit & transportation sector.
- Willingness to lead and mentor a team.
- Strong leadership skills; capable of enabling the work of a diverse team of CAD and BIM specialists.
- Ability to organize, delegate and oversee a team of CAD and BIM specialists to complete a project from start to finish.
- Ability to understand the scope and limits of responsibility between various engineering disciplines and project support groups.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude in working with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork & problem-solving skills in complex and changing environments.
- Advanced understanding AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit; advanced understanding of MicroStation, Open Roads, Open Buildings would be an asset.
- Capable of supervising technical details in area(s) of specialty.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable CAD/BIM standards and practice in transportation & infrastructure.
- Associate degree in engineering technology (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) and CET designation would be an asset.
