Barista - Study Coffeehouse

Do you have a passion for coffee or tea? The Barista position at the Study Coffeehouse is responsible for curating a welcoming coffee/tea experience for the campus community. You will be responsible for making drinks and food, opening and/closing duties, and cash handling.

**Barista Responsibilities**
- Take orders and make food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages) for customers
- Upholding high hygiene standards
- Ensuring proper safety measures
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ensuring proper safe food handling and alcohol service requirements are met
- Complete opening and/or closing duties
- Assist with any special event setup and ensure event runs smoothly
- Proper cash handling
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns
- Flexible availability: nights, weekends and holidays

**Barista Requirements**
- 1+ year of barista or serving experience
- Safe food handling certified*
- Smart Serve certified*
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer and POS proficiency
- Thrives in a busy environment
- Passion for food & beverage and a positive attitude

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
