Études:
Un grade d’un établissement d’enseignement postsecondaire reconnu, avec spécialisation acceptable en physique, en géologie, en chimie ou dans une autre science liée au poste.

Équivalence des diplômes

Expérience:

- Expérience récente (c.à-d. au cours des deux dernières années) de l’utilisation de la technologie LiDAR ou de nuages de points multispectraux dans des plateformes à code source ouvert.
- Expérience récente (c.à-d. au cours des deux dernières années) du traitement et de l’analyse de données géospatiales.
- Expérience récente (c.à-d. au cours des deux dernières années) de l’élaboration de modèles d’apprentissage automatique à l’aide de bases de données géospatiales et de surveillance des forêts dans le domaine de la recherche forestière.

Connaissances:

- Connaissance d’ArcGIS ou de QGIS.
- Connaissance de la programmation et du langage de script à l’aide de R (p. ex., tidyverse, LidR) et de Python (p. ex., Tensorflow).

Capacités:

- Capacité à communiquer des résultats de recherches scientifiques efficacement par écrit.
- Capacité à communiquer des résultats de recherches scientifiques efficacement de vive voix.
- Capacité à planifier, à organiser et à réaliser des campagnes de collecte de données de télédétection à l’aide d’un UAV-LiDAR ou de capteurs multispectraux.
- Générer un flux de travail itératif, des méthodes et des algorithmes pour traiter des nuages de points LiDAR ou multispectraux dans des milieux forestiers.
