**Responsibilities**:

- Provide 24/7 live-in care and support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Manage medication and promptly address any medical needs.
- Prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Offer companionship and mental stimulation through conversation, reading, and leisure activities.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
- Monitor client health changes and report any concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a caregiver; formal training in caregiving is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR certification is an advantage).
- A deep sense of respect for the elderly and people with disabilities.
- Ability to live with the client in a shared living arrangement.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Must pass a background check and provide references.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

**Benefits**:

- Flexible schedule

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Signing bonus

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Caregiving: 5 years (preferred)
