Fire Sprinkler Fitter

**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Install, inspect, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to codes and standards
- Install, inspect, test, and repair backflow preventors
- Perform routine maintenance on fire sprinkler systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire sprinkler systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of fire sprinkler systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Willingness to assist in other areas of fire protection when sprinkler work is completed

**Experience**:

- Writing fire sprinkler inspection reports and quoting repairs
- Experience in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with other trades to coordinate work effectively
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Skills in using hand and power tools for installation and repairs
- Working at heights (comfortable working on ladders and lifts)

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work well with others or alone and follow direction
- Punctual
- Excellent report writing and organizational skills
- Must own basic tools needed for daily work
- Vaild drivers licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.32-$51.52 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- pipefitting: 3 years (preferred)
