A supply planner is responsible for ensuring that a company receives the materials or supplies they need quickly, efficiently, and within budget. Monitoring the company’s inventories, tracking the performance of current supply methods and finding ways to improve processes. The supply planner may suggest moving warehouses, changing suppliers, or switching transportation methods. In the event of a supply emergency (such as a sudden increase in demand or a shortage of materials), the supply planner must also determine how to get new supplies in time to meet deadlines.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Develop optimum supply and production plans.
- Monitor and maintain optimum inventory level.
- Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.
- Manage the relationship with third party warehouse partners in the US.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Proactive reporting of product and material availability issues
- Commit to implement, update, maintain and communicate an effective Food Safety Management System meeting the requirements of SQF code, and supporting its ongoing improvement.
- Commit to prevent occupational work accidents by identifying risks and supporting corrective actions. Act as liaison between Production, Logistics, Order fulfillment and Sales.
- Submit annual budget reports, ensure financial standards, and resolve issues.
- Participate in various continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform relevant tasks, as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, commerce, in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain position involving logistics, inventory control and extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of US export regulations including the FDA.
- Bilingual English - French, advanced level in English (written and oral).
- Proficiency with systems, ERPs, MRPs and technology.
- Analytical skills with business acumen.
- Independent. nimble and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Superior communications skills with an ability to impact and influence people.
- Valid passport, ability to travel by air to the US.

**Physical requirements **The incumbent is required to work in a seated position for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs.

**Working conditions**

Regular work schedule: Monday to Friday, Daytime, 37.5 hours weekly. Additional availabilities may be expected to meet needs on a timely manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
