Junior Florist

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Receive, process and clean flowers on delivery days
- Assist lead florist with any tasks required
- Create various styles of floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, installations, etc.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the floral department
- Loading and organizing delivery vehicles
- Set up and tear down of florals and some décor at weddings and events
- Working in our Studio and on site at weddings and events for set up
- Early mornings and sometimes late nights
- Weekdays and weekends required
- Cleaning and maintaining an organized studio/work space

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of different types of flowers and floral arrangements
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous design experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- G drivers license

Pay: $16.55-$18.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- florist: 1 year (preferred)
