We’re on the hunt for a **Patternmaker **on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
Performs a variety of simple tasks and activities related to the design and manufacture of thermal blankets and their installation on space equipment. You may also be required to work as a seamstress, production assistant and general helper.
**Level of responsibility**: Structured work processes. A certain amount of analysis is required before choosing independently among known processes.
**Tasks**:
- Develop and manufacture simple thermal blanket patterns.
- Trace and make blanket patterns.
- Cut, assemble, and sew materials using patterns.
- Install and repair thermal blankets.
- Install ground connections.
- Master resistivity measurement.
- Adjust industrial sewing machines.
- Support research and development.
- All other related tasks
**Minimum qualifications required**:
- Reading of blueprints and patterns.
- Basic knowledge of geometric tolerances and dimensions.
- Ability to retrieve and enter data using a computer system.
- Use of production databases.
- Good knowledge of French.
- Fine manual dexterity.
- Education: College diploma in fashion production or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience as a seamstress on an industrial digital
