**Responsibilities**:

- Clean guest rooms, public areas, and grounds, maintaining disease safe practices through regular cleaning of these areas including surfaces for the wellness of yourself, colleagues, and all guests
- Create a welcoming and exceptional guest experience in all aspects of your work
- Monitor daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms, public areas and grounds daily
- Assist Guest Service Manager to hire, lead and train housekeeping staff in order to attain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Perform quality checks on guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure that departmental standards and health and safety regulations are being met
- Document areas cleaned by housekeeping colleagues using Webrez Pro software and report any issues such as room damage and maintenance requests
- Coordinate with the accommodation and grounds management team to prepare colleague schedules, as well as manage vacation and time-off requests
- Submit and approve housekeeping colleague’s payroll hours bi-weekly
- Maintain inventory and ensure there is an adequate stock of housekeeping supplies
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs when needed
- Conduct staff reviews for the housekeeping department, providing support with ongoing feedback and training
- Assist General Manager to manage overall performance of housekeeping team including terminations
- Prepare for and attend weekly management meetings with the leadership team
- Manage the after-hours ‘on-call’ phone in the evenings on a scheduled weekly rotation
- Assist managers and colleagues in additional departments throughout the resort
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years’ experience in hospitality or guest services
- 2+ years’ experience in housekeeping management or similar supervisory role preferred
- Guest service oriented with ability to provide friendly and proactive service
- Knowledge of detailed cleaning processes, supplies and equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to problem-solve, finding effective solutions in a fast-paced work environment
- Team player with strong conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a timely and productive manner

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
