Prep Cook

Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting a **Prep Cook **to join the team at Miramichi Regional Hospital.

As a Prep Cook, you would be responsible for food preparation and short order cooking. Specific duties include:

- Preparing, measuring, and assembling food ingredients
- Preparing and cooking or baking foods
- Preparing special menu items to accommodate patient diets
- Panning and plating food and serving meals
- Monitoring and recording food and equipment temperatures
- Cleaning and sanitizing tools, equipment, and the kitchen and serving areas
- Ordering, receiving, and storing supplies, and maintaining inventory

**Who you are**

You possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and you have experience in cooking and baking. You have written and spoken competence in English.
