Parks & Recreation Student

**The Facilities department is seeking energetic self-motivated students to work for the upcoming summer season**

There are opportunities to work alongside various teams within in the department:
** Cemeteries** - grass cutting, tree trimming, landscaping

**Parks & Recreation** - grass cutting, maintaining playgrounds and sports fields

**Horticulture/Landscaping** - planting and weeding flower beds, watering, pruning, raking

**Requirements**:

- Ability to follow safety procedures and work with little or no supervision
- Physical ability to perform labour
- Valid G license, with a clean driving record

The summer work term will be approximately 4 months, beginning in April/May to the end of August 2024. All summer student positions with North Perth have varying hours which may include weekdays, weeknights and weekends. Compensation for this position is $17.52- $21.91 per hour and includes optional enrollment in the OMERS pension plan.
